I find that the most interesting images of landmarks often include the people there to see them. Not in any sort of voyeuristic or disparaging way (I mean we are all there to see the same thing), but more that it is worthwhile to watch folks participate in the act of ‘landmark’.

If we don’t give the site/sight some amount of reverence, does it still have its power? (The answer with a place as unbelievable as Monument Valley is definitely yes, but I still think it is a fun question to ask.)
