How do you talk about design? The question necessitates a definition of design and an articulation of audience, but what if both of those are beyond easy quantification? This was the crux of our challenge in putting on an exhibition of work for the 2015 graduating class of California College of The Arts' Masters in Design Program.
We distributed work across 4 main gallery spaces with careful consideration paid to how pieces would interact both with viewers and with each other. The result was an overall experience that unfolded in a unique way for each viewer and begged to be explored more than once.
